English Pronunciation Pathway for Kannada Speakers

MY LANGUAGE PATHWAY

A structured route from noticing to real communication.

Twelve lessons, twelve interactive transfers, 32 drills, checkpoints and five branching scenarios.

Use background as a starting hypothesis

Kannada speakers are diverse. Region, education, other languages and personal speech history all matter. This pathway offers choices to notice—not a diagnosis based on identity.

What the pathway practises

  • Listening discrimination before production
  • Sound choices in words and sentences
  • Stress, rhythm, linking and message focus
  • Clarification and repair in professional situations
  • Private reflection and spaced review

Language-bridge guidance is beta beta editorial guidance. No automated accent-quality or mastery claim is made.

Choose by communication need

Start with a meeting, interview, presentation or everyday exchange that matters to you. Notice whether the listener needs a clearer vowel contrast, word ending, name, number, message stress or thought-group boundary. Work on one feature at a time, then return it to the complete message.

You can skip any lesson that is not relevant. The pathway records completed activity for continuity; completion does not prove mastery, fluency or accent quality.

Use a private compare-and-retry loop

  1. Listen to a reviewed reference in context.
  2. Predict the information a listener must catch.
  3. Record locally only if it helps you reflect.
  4. Choose one observable change and try the whole message again.
